Please return the tear-off part of the prescription by post or in person.
It is also possible (far easier and quicker) to request repeat prescriptions online via the link at the top of this page. In order to do this you will need to register and set up an online account. If you have problems accessing the links above please contact Anita Cole, Office Manager on 01689 850012. For all other queries click here.
You can also select a designated Pharmacy where we will send your prescription to. This can be anywhere either locally or near to where you work. The process is much quicker and your prescription will be ready to collect direct from the nominated Pharmacy usually within 48 hours of requesting it from us - often much sooner. You will need to advise us via Reception of your chosen Pharmacy so that we can update your records - or you can ask the Pharmacy to contact us on your behalf.
Please do not telephone for repeat prescriptions
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account. This is for routine requests. If you are bringing a prescription from a hospital Consultant following an out patient appointment it may take up to 5 days for us to verify and then issue this. If a Consultant feels you need the prescription urgently a prescription to collect from the hospital Pharmacy will be provided.
